Jason Dudas, MD

Dr. Jason Dudas joined the Sieber Plastic Surgery team in 2024 to offer his expertise in hair restoration with over a decade of experience in nearly a thousand hair transplant and hairline lowering surgeries. Dr. Dudas was personally trained by Dr. Sheldon Kabaker, who is considered to be the father of the hairline lowering procedure, as well as an internationally-recognized hair transplant surgeon. Dr. Dudas has performed more procedures with Dr. Kabaker than any other surgeon, and was chosen by Dr. Kabaker to carry on his legacy in hair restoration upon his retirement in 2018. Dr. Dudas understands that hair restoration requires a personalized strategy, and that hair transplant surgery is not a “one size fits all” procedure. He is able to offer each patient the specific procedure that will best meet their individual needs and goals, and consults on even the most complex hair restoration challenges.

Dr. Dudas completed his undergraduate education at the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with majors in Biology and Spanish. He then received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. During medical school, he also completed a graduate research fellowship through the National Institutes of Health studying the role of stem cells in plastic surgery. Dr. Dudas completed a residency in plastic surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, where he was trained in all aspects of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breasts, and body. He then completed an American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship, where he received additional subspecialty training in facial cosmetic surgery and hair transplantation. During this time, he also held a clinical instructor appointment at the University of California San Francisco, teaching art and science of plastic surgery to aspiring plastic surgeons.

Dr. Dudas is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery.

Dr. Dudas’ research on stem cells and many other aspects of plastic surgery has been published extensively in scientific journals and presented at prestigious medical conferences, and he is regularly invited to speak at seminars for both colleagues and patients in the community.  Dr. Dudas speaks English and Spanish, and will consult with patients in their choice of either language.

Dr. Dudas has been named as a “Top Doctor” by the American Institute for Plastic Surgery and the National Academy of Plastic Surgeons from 2018 to 2024.  He received the Dr. Shelly A. Friedman Award in 2022 for the highest score on the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery oral certification exam, and he is now an examiner for the Board, as well as for the Stanford University plastic surgery oral board review course.  Dr. Dudas was honored by Fort Lauderdale Magazine as a top 3 hair transplant specialist in 2024.  He has been featured by Lifestyle Magazine in their “Heroes of Healthcare” and “Men of Influence” issues, as well as St. Louis Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40”.
